♏
Enter the mind behind the captivating Greens 3 Pride Month label, a fusion of cosmic wonder and nostalgic homage. Inspired by the appeal of space and the iconic imagery of early 80s MTV, Javi originally envisioned an astronaut planting a progress Pride flag on the moon, pondering the existence of others like him amidst the stars. As a queer artist, Javi channels his internal struggles and existential inquiries into his art, crafting narratives rich in contradiction, ambivalence, and empathy. Through his work, Javi strives to illuminate the innate compassion within humanity, inviting viewers to confront their vulnerability and find ease in life's complexities. His stories are a testament to the resilience of queer individuals, echoing the courage of past pioneers while inspiring future generations to embrace their true selves.
In honor of Pride Month, Javi's label design serves as a touching representation of the queer experience. It reflects the feelings of being different yet brave and creating new journeys while respecting those who paved the way. It serves as a reminder that queer existence is not only valid but crucial, inspiring others to live authentically.
To fellow queer artists embarking on their creative journey, Javi offers simple yet profound advice: listen to yourself, embrace your uniqueness, and approach yourself and others with compassion.
